Many little things add up

Finalized the itinerary, rooming list, flight pick-up and drop-off and several other little things today…which seem to add up. We’re still working to confirm city visits, transportation, translators, etc. Most are confirmed and we will be working on birth search requests and meetings until the end of the tour. Our partners in Korea are working very hard and I can not imagine the workload they face-not only are they working on this tour, but several others as well as the IKAA Gathering in August where over 500 Korean adoptees are expected to attend. Several adoptees from our tour will stay for the Gathering.

I see from Facebook posts that it’s raining in Korea. I remember last year how hot, humid and raining it was. Maybe we can do a “no rain dance” before we depart for Korea..I wonder what shoes I will have to wear for this dance.

I leave for Korea on Monday, July 19. Sandy leaves on Thursday, July 22. What a wonderful experience this will be for everyone! I hope you enjoy following us on this grand adventure.
